ATUAÇÃO POLÍTICA E REVOLUCIONÁRIA DE JESUS?

Resumen

Can Jesus be considered in terms of a revolutionary leader preaching a violent social upheaval? Did he intend to overthrow the established social and political situation of Palestine? The answer to these questions is "no", because in the Sermon on the Mount Jesus did not preach violence but love and even love of one's enemies. The fact of Jesus expelling the traders from the temple precincts does not mean that he was a social revolutionary.
