LIBERTAÇÃO E JUSTIFICAÇÃO: MATEUS 25,31-46
Abstract
The parable of the "great (last) judgement" has inspired the social doctrine of the churches, the christian action or activity and the more recent theology, partícularly the Latin American theology of Liberation. Having a look at the use the theologians have made of this parable, catholic and evangelic as well, and at the text itself, we push this parable into the context of the divine solidarity in Jesus with the poor and abandoned people and of the challenge to the christian active solidarity with these same poor of the history.
