Abstract: This text aims to study the philosophical rehabilitation of classical Greece undertaken by F. Nietzsche and S. Weil. In the introduction we try to show the influence that the imaginary reconstruction of Hellas held in Romanticism and German Idealism had on the authors analyzed, especially on Nietzsche. Next, thoroughly investigated the analysis of these two authors on Greece. Finally, we confront some topics of these two reconstructions of Greece (p. Ex. The Dionysus status and receipt of Plato by them), seeking to emphasize, therefore, the existing radical antagonism between the two mentioned thinkers.
