O A. examina a cultura no horizonte da problemática do Uno e do Múltiplo, destacando a antiguidade e a atualidade da questão e chamando a atenção para a necessidade que a cultura tem, pelo seu próprio conceito, de ser uma cultura no plural. Na conclusão, indaga sobre as perspectivas de realização da unidade na diversidade.

Summary: The author examines culture in the horízon of the problematic of the One and the Multiple. Highlighting this ancient and actual question, the author focuses the inherent need in the very concept of culture to be a culture in the plural. The conclusion contemplates the prospects of realization of unity in diversity.
