Author Guidelines

Annales FAJE (AF) collects the main contributions of scientific value of the events organized by the Departments of Philosophy and Theology at FAJE, with at least one publication every year. The organizer of each event gathers the texts and submits them to the General Editor of the Annales, who is in charge of their publication.

PRESENTATION OF ORIGINALS

a) The texts to be published must be sent to the organizer of the event in question, with a thematic SUMMARY in Portuguese of no more than 7 lines (approximately 80 words), with five KEY WORDS. Key words must be separated by periods.

b) TYPING

Use Times New Roman font, 12 pt. Greek or Hebrew fonts may be used, provided they are transliterated between parentheses. In this case, please send the file with the fonts. Microsoft Word or equivalent word processor is used; A4 page. Hyphenation should not be used. There should be no space between paragraphs. Begin the paragraph with 1 cm indentation. The words RESUMO and PALAVRAS-CHAVE must be written in capital letters, font size 12, bold, aligned to the left.

c) STRUCTURE OF THE TEXTS TO BE PUBLISHED

The title of a primary section should be written in lower case (except for the first name), 14 pt font, bold, left aligned. From the secondary section onwards the font is size 12, bold, left aligned. The numbering follows the sequential logic of Arabic numerals: 1; 1.1; 1.2; 1.2.1; 1.2.2; etc. The last number should not be followed by a period.

d) QUOTATIONS

Short (textual) direct quotations (up to three lines) must be made in the text itself between double quotation marks. Long direct quotations (more than three lines) must be made in a specific paragraph with 2 cm indentation in regular font size 11, with single line spacing in relation to the previous and subsequent text.

e) REFERENCE NOTES

They should be typed in the text itself, in parentheses, following the logic "last name, year and page". If there are two authors with the same last name, add the abbreviation of the name. If there is more than one work of the same year and author, the year should be followed by sequential letters of the alphabet. At the end of the text, give the complete references.

E.g.: (MIRANDA, 2010, p. 37).

(BOFF, L., 2003b, p. 105)

f) EXPLANATORY NOTES

Explanatory notes should be avoided, but if they are relevant for further clarification, they will be typed below. They are separated from the text by a 5 cm line, with simple interline, font size 10, and no space between notes. They are aligned by the first word, leaving the number highlighted.

Example:

¹ Rom 9:24-29 is located in the first part of the Letter to the Romans (1:18-11:36), in section 9-11, at the end of the first movement of the argumentation of these three chapters (9:6-29).

g) REFERENCES

For the preparation of references, follow the ABNT (Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas) norms. The references of works actually used appear in a single list at the end of the article, typed in 11 pt font, with simple interlineation. One blank line should be left at the end of each reference, in alphabetical order by last name. The examples are merely illustrative:
