Resumo

Fundamentalmente ligada aos procedimentos universitários de sua época, o método filosófico da escolástica medieval esteve sempre às voltas com a leitura interpretativa de textos autorizados. Um dos momentos privilegiados da fundamentação e justificação dessa tradição é a primeira questão da Suma Teológica de Tomás de Aquino. Exercício de leitura interpretativa dessa questão, nosso artigo busca determinar a constituição, o sentido e o objeto disso que, chamado «doutrina sagrada», representa a justificação filosófico-teológica do procedimento interpretativo escolástico. Momentos dessa determinação são o esclarecimento do caráter de necessidade dessa doutrina (a. 1), das relações que se estabelecem entre ela e a noção escolástica de ciência (a. 2-6), a determinação de seu objeto (a. 7) e, por fim, o estabelecimento de suas relações com a interpretação de textos (a. 8-10).

Abstract: Strietly related to the university procedures of your time, the mediaeval philosophical method has been always busy itself with the interpretative reading of authorized texts. One of the most privileged moments of the foundation of this tradition is the Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologiae first questiono Attempting a interpretation of this question, our paper try to describe the constitution, the sense and the object of the so called «sacred doetrine», concept that represents the general philosophical-theological justification of the scholastic interpretative procedures. Steps of ourexplanation are the determination of the kind of necessity related to this doctrine (a. 1), the relationships between this doctrine and the mediaeval sense of science (a. 2-6), the determination of its subject (a. 7) and finally the definition of its relationship with the concept of text interpretation in general.
