DEUS NO PANORAMA FILOSÓFICO CONTEMPORÂNEO

Resumo

Pensava-se que ela estava eliminada, ou melhor, marginalizada. No entanto, em poucos anos, a questão de Deus voltou à cena internacional em numerosos debates teóricos, mas também práticos, metafísicos e políticos. Vários índices mostram que a este respeito houve uma mudança de época. Em um número sem precedente de obras e de revistas atualmente publicadas, o vocábulo principal é “Deus”. O artigo, na sua primeira parte, refaz um status quaestionis particularmente atento às tendências recentes da filosofia francesa. A segunda parte, que procura recuperar as condições atuais da questão de Deus na filosofia, identifica seis focos mais significativos de debate.

Abstract: It was thought to have been eliminated or, at best, marginalized. In recent years, however, the question of God is back on the international scene, in many theoretical debates but also in practical, metaphysical and political debates. Several indicators tell us that in this respect the times have changed. An unprecedented number of books and journals are being published, which contain the word “God” in their title. The first part of this paper establishes a status quaestionis with particular afention to recent trends in French philosophy. The second part, which seeks to identify the current conditions of the question of God in philosophy, identifies six major foci of debate.
