MORTE E FINITUDE

Resumo

Neste artigo tentaremos relacionar os temas da morte e da finitude a partir de algumas sugestões teóricas propostas por Ser e tempo de M. Heidegger. Este assunto nos é, por vezes, tão óbvio, que obscurece toda experiência existencial. Para alguns autores, a temática da morte ocupa um lugar especial dentro desta obra, não sendo uma mera introdução de algum tema existencial. A partir dela podemos traçar alguns pontos norteadores para uma interpretação filosófica da finitude humana. Morte e finitude não remetem simplesmente a experiências extremas da vida humana, mas propiciam uma nova perspectiva para a compreensão do homem e de sua existência. Para tanto, colocaremos em conflito nossa compreensão cotidiana, orientada pelo impessoal, e a compreensão que nasce a partir de uma interpretação existencial da “essência” humana.

Abstract: In this paper we will try to connect themes such as death and finitude, following some of the theoretical suggestions proposed by Heidegger in Being and Time. Sometimes, such topics seem so obvious to us that they obscure all existential experience. Some authors believe that death is at the core of Being and Time and is much more than a mere introduction to an existential theme. Heidegger's Being and Time allows us to delineate a path for a philosophical interpretation of human finitude. Death and finitude do not simply refer to extreme experiences of human life, but provide a new perspective for understanding human beings and their existence. In order to do so, we will oppose our daily understanding, ruled by the ”˜impersonal', to that which originates from an existential interpretation of “human essence”.
