O SER E SUAS ULTERIORES DETERMINAÇÕES

Resumo

Fichte e Hegel pressupõem que o conceito inicial do sistema – e Eu e o Ser – contêm dentro em si suas determinações ulteriores. Por isso todo o sistema poderia ser deduzido a partir do primeiro princípio. Esta tese, entretanto, é bem mais antiga e foi defendida, pelo menos quanto às primeiras determinações, por Cajetanus e Suarez. Uma tal dedução é possível? A resposta é Sim e Não, dependendo do que se entenda por dedução.

Abstract: Both Fichte and Hegel presuppose that the initial concept of the system- the Self and the Being- contains within itself its ulterior determinations. This is the reason why the whole system can be deduced from that first principle. The thesis is, in fact, much older and was proposed by Cajetan and Suarez, at least for the first determinations. Is such a deduction possible? The answer is Yes and No, depending on what we understand by deduction.
