EXPERIÊNCIA E SENTIDO

Resumo

O conceito de experiência desempenha um papel decisivo no hodierno debate filosófico. O autor pretende reconstruir o conceito de experiência no pensamento de H.C. Lima Vaz. Para tanto, nesta primeira parte histórica, considera quatro teorias da experiência, importantes nessa reconstrução. As contribuições de Aristóteles, Locke, Kant e Hegel são ainda atuais e mostrar-se-ão presentes no pensamento de H.C. Lima Vaz.

Abstract: The concept of experience and its rôle in modem philosophical debate is the starting point of this paper. The author tries to reconstruct this concept in the thought of the Brazilian philosopher H.C. Lima Vaz. The present text is only the first part of the paper. A historical perspective presents four theories of experience: Aristotle, Locke, Kant and Hegel. The relevance of these theories will be shown afterwards in the analysis of the concept of experience in the thought of H.C. Lima Vaz.
