PSICANÁLISE E METAFÍSICA: O ESQUECIMENTO DA RAZÃO

Resumo

Surgida das condições específicas da Viena fin-de-siècle, a Psicanálise tornou-se uma das forças dominantes do nosso tempo. Com seu extraordinário êxito, a Psicanálise é considerada por muitas pessoas uma espécie de nova cosmovisão pós-filosófica. Esse artigo procura mostrar que nem o texto freudiano nem o desenvolvimento do pensamento contemporâneo autorizam tal interpretação.

Abstract: Psyco-analysis arose under specific conditions current in Viena of the fin-de-siècle, and became one of the prevailing cultural trends of our time. On account of its extraordinary success Psyco-analysis is regarded by many people as a kind of a new post-philosophical Weltanschauung. This article tries to show that neither the Freudian text nor the development of contemporaneous thinking authorizes such an interpretation.
