FILOSOFIA E CRÍTICA DAS IDEOLOGIAS
Resumo
O artigo desenvolve-se em três momentos articulados. No primeiro apresenta a origem filosófica do conceito de ideologia e a direção que a crítica marxista, embora questionável, impôs à reflexão sobre o tema. No segundo apresenta a compreensão da ideologia nos fundadores da Sociologia e nalguns sociólogos contemporâneos. No terceiro articula uma reflexão filosófica sobre os dois anteriores, recuperando um sentido positivo da ideologia como mediação do consenso social e situando a crítica das ideologias na perspectiva da hermenêutica das tradições.
Summary: The article deals with three steps of articulated thoughts. Beginning with a philosophical analysis of the concept of ideology, the study dwells on the direction and the problems involved in the Marxist criticism which it imposed on the reflexion about this concept. The second aspect concerns the meaning of ideology held by the founders of sociological science and by some contemporary sociologists. The third aspect is a philosophical reflexion on the two previous ones so as to rescue the positive meaning of ideology consisting in its function as a mediation of social consensus and situating the criticism of ideologies in the context of hermeneutics of traditions.
