This article presents an analysis of Revelation 14:6-13, with the aim of highlighting its message of hope and resistance in the face of the oppression experienced by the Christian community. The pericope is structured into three proclamations delivered by angels and a final exhortation. Each proclamation reveals different aspects of God’s judgment: the universal call to worship the Creator, the fall of Babylon — a symbol of the oppressive empire — and the condemnation of those who worship the beast. The final exhortation reinforces the blessedness of those who remain faithful, even in the face of death, reaffirming the eschatological victory of those who are in Christ. The author emphasizes that Revelation is not a book of fear, but a prophetic message that denounces the forces of evil, reveals God’s saving action, and encourages Christians to remain faithful and hopeful. Reading this text, especially in times of crisis, invites the faithful to recognize that the final word in history belongs to God, not to the oppressive powers.
Keywords: Revelation. Judgment. Hope. Resistance. Faithfulness.
