Abstract

Martin Buber (1878-1965) and Ferdinand Ebner (1882-1931) are prominent figures in Dialogical Personalism, a 20th-century philosophical movement that emphasizes the centrality of the I-Thou relationship as the foundation of human existence and religious experience. This article seeks to explore the convergences and distinctive aspects of these thinkers, highlighting how they move away from individualistic and idealistic approaches by proposing an understanding of existence as a personal, relational, and dialogical event, seen as an act of spiritual revelation and communion.
