Resumo

Civilização em Excesso. Este artigo procura refletir os impasses contemporâneos acerca da tensão entre civilização e barbárie. Parte do pressuposto de que a obra de Marx oferece uma rica e complexa rede conceitual e metodológica ”” que não obstante, deve ser problematizada ”” para tratar do problema que tem seu impasse fixado entre o desenvolvimento das forças objetivas e a ausência de uma cultura capaz de dimensioná-las às necessidades de toda humanidade. A solução de tal impasse exige uma releitura crítica da cultura contemporânea, nos seus signos de um lento emergir da barbárie, a partir de mudanças na compreensão metodológica legada pelo marxismo.

Abstract: Civilization in Excess. This article reflects about the contemporaneous impasses of the tension between civilization and Barbary. From notion that Marx's work offers rich and complex conceptual and methodological net work ”” that even so should be brought in trouble ”” it can study the question that has its impasse situated between the development of objective forces and the absence of a culture capable of fitting to the needs of whole humanity. The solution of such impasse should come from changes in the methodological comprehension trought by the Marxism, to a critical reading over again of contemporary culture in her signs of slow emerging Barbary.
