ECOLOGIA: DESAFIOS À ÉTICA E AO CRISTIANISMO SEGUNDO LEONARDO BOFF

Resumo

Este artigo apresenta uma visão sintética do pensamento de Leonardo Boff com relação aos novos desafios colocados pela ecologia à ética e ao cristianismo. Debate o significado da crise ecológica à luz da questão da crise do paradigma ocidental e da emergência do paradigma ecológico. Expõe a ética que melhor corresponderia ao paradigma ecológico. Aponta algumas contribuições do cristianismo ao desafio ecológico.

Abstract: This article presents a synthetic vision of the thought of Leonardo Boff regarding the new challenges put by the ecology to the ethics and to the Christianity. It debates the meaning of the ecological crisis in perspective of the question of the crisis of the western paradigm and of the emergence of the ecological paradigm. It exposes the ethics that better would correspond to the ecological paradigm. It points to some contributions of the Christianity to the ecological challenge.
