A REMEMORAÇÃO DA ÉTICA CLÁSSICA COMO POSSÍVEL RESPOSTA PARA A CRISE ÉTICA DA CIVILIZAÇÃO OCIDENTAL NA ATUALIDADE

Tendo em vista que é no espírito do tempo (Zeitgeist) que poderemos encontrar respostas para as nossas inquietações, buscamos abordar neste artigo a ideia de que Lima Vaz, partindo de sua rememoração (Erinnerung) do passado e, principalmente, da sua busca incessante de entender o espírito do nosso tempo, tentou responder à crise do sentido ou crise ética que vivemos, fazendo apelo a um retorno aos princípios da Ética clássica, aos primórdios de uma resposta dada por Sócrates-Platão à crise da cultura grega dos séculos V e IV a.C. no desenvolvimento da chamada ciência do ethos da qual Sócrates é o fundador na obra de Lima Vaz.
ABSTRACT: Having in mind that it is in the spirit of the time (Zeitgeist) that we can find answers to our worries, we claim to approach in this paper the idea that Lima Vaz, from his  concept of remembrance (Erinnerung) of the past and, mainly, his incessant search to understand the spirit of our time, tried to answer the crisis of meaning or ethical crisis that we live. He appeals to a return to classical principles of ethics, to the beginnings of an answer given by Socrates-Plato to the crisis of Greek culture of fifth and fourth centuries BC in the development of so-called science of the ethos, of which Socrates is the founder in Lima Vaz's work.
