O NÓMOS NA PÓLIS GREGA: UMA CONVERGÊNCIA ENTRE A PAIDÉIA E A LEGISLAÇÃO

Resumo

A finalidade deste trabalho é mostrar no Projeto Filosófico de Platão uma convergência entre a educação e a legislação, iniciado no diálogo A República e concluído no diálogo As Leis. No primeiro texto, a preocupação do Filósofo é com uma reflexão ético-política quanto à melhor forma de vida, e, no segundo, volta-se para a realização da ação política. A paidéia aflora na República como um elemento primordial para o homem virtuoso e para o estado ideal, atuando como um limite para o legislador nas Leis, dado que o desígnio é a unidade social, cuja concretização somente ocorrerá se houver bons cidadãos na pólis. Portanto, o Corpus platonicum não se resume ao que deve ser uma comunidade ideal (Politeía), mas também como é que ela se realiza na ação política (Leis).

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to show Plato's philosophical project in a convergence between education and legislation, initiated the dialogue The Republic and finished in the dialogue The Laws. In the first text, the philosopher is concerned with an ethical-political reflection on the best way of life, and in seconds, turns to the realization of political action. The paidéia emerges in the Republic as a key element for the virtuous man and the ideal state, acting as a limit to the legislator in Laws, since the design is the social unit, whose implementation will only occur if there are good citizens in the polis. Therefore, the Corpus platonicum not limited to what should be an ideal community (Politeía), but also how it is done in political action (Laws).
