FÉ E SEGUIMENTO: AS GRANDES LINHAS DO DISCIPULADO CRISTÃO EM MT 5-7

Resumo

O Sermão da Montanha (Mt 5-7) evidencia a identidade de Jesus enquanto Mestre que, além de dar instruções, convoca seus discípulos e os convida a viver o modo de proceder do Reino e de quem está centrado em Deus. A proposta de Jesus, assumida pela fé, desafia os discípulos a serem coerentes com a justiça do Reino de Deus. O lugar de aprendizado é a própria vida, o mundo. É no caminho do discipulado que se aprende a ser verdadeiro discípulo. A meta é, precisamente, o modo de agir de Deus, expresso na prática da vontade do Pai, por parte do discípulo. O objetivo principal deste trabalho consiste em explicitar os eixos fundamentais para o discipulado do Reino, no Sermão da Montanha (Mt 5-7): a vida centrada em Deus, a justiça dos discípulos, as opções a serem feitas no seguimento de Jesus e a prática que corrobora a fé cristã. O objetivo específico, por sua vez, consiste em mostrar que as grandes linhas do discipulado cristão, expressas em Mt 5-7, permanecem inegociáveis e constituem o cerne da vocação cristã. Sobretudo, num contexto de distanciamento entre fé e vida, urge insistir no modo de agir do discípulo de Jesus. A metodologia escolhida foi a de pesquisa bibliográfica. O resultado a que se chegou, de fato, confirma o que se pretendia: evidenciar os eixos irrenunciáveis do seguimento de Jesus, quais sejam: a vontade de Deus como imperativo para o discípulo, a justiça do Reino dos Céus que se deve buscar em primeiro lugar, o discernimento acerca das opções a serem feitas no caminho e a fidelidade ética que norteia a vida de quem se propõe a seguir os passos de Jesus, o Mestre por palavras e obras.

Abstract: The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) reveals the identity of Jesus as a Master who, besides giving instructions, calls his disciples and invites them to live the way of proceeding of the Kingdom and who is God-centered. The proposal of Jesus, assumed by faith, challenges the disciples to be consistent with the justice of the Kingdom of God. The place of learning is life itself, the world. It is the path of discipleship that we learn to be a true disciple. The goal is precisely the mode of action of God, expressed in the practice of the will of the Father, by the disciple. The main objective of this work is to clarify the fundamental axes for discipleship of the kingdom in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7): the God-centered life, justice of the disciples, the choices to be made in following Jesus and practice which supports the Christian faith. The specific objective, in turn, is to show that the main lines of Christian discipleship, expressed in Matthew 5-7, remain non-negotiable and are at the heart of the Christian vocation. Especially in the context of distance between faith and life, it insists on urgent manner of the disciple of Jesus. The methodology chosen was to the literature. The result had been reached indeed confirms what was intended: irrefutable evidence the axes of following Jesus, namely: the will of God as essential to the disciple, the justice of the Kingdom of Heaven we must seek first place, discernment about the options to be made in the way and fidelity ethics that guides the lives of those who intend to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, the Master in word and deed.
