Resumo: É aparentemente clara a posição de Aristóteles sobre o conhecimento científico ao negar que possa haver ciência do que é mutável. A ciência apresenta a causa e trata do necessário, daquilo que não pode ser diferente do que é. Todavia, em Segundos Analíticos I 30, Metafísica k 8 e E 2, Retórica I 10 e Primeiros Analíticos I 27, eventos cuja ocorrência não é nem necessária, nem acidental, mas se dá no mais das vezes (ὡi‚ á¼i€á½¶ i„ὸ i€Î¿Î»i), aparecem como objetos que podem ser analisados cientificamente.
Abstract: Aristotle's position about the scientific knowledge is evidently clear when he denies that there might be science of mutable things. Science presentes the cause and deals with the necessary, things that cannot be diverent from what they are. However, in Posterior Analytics I 30, Metaphysics K 8 and E 2, Rhetoric I 10 and Prior Analytics I 27, events whose occurrence is not necessary or accidental, but happen in most cases (ὡi‚ á¼i€á½¶ i„ὸ i€Î¿Î»i), appear as objects which can be analyzed scienti-cally.
