RECONHECER-SE RECONHECIDO: O PROBLEMA DO RECONHECIMENTO ENQUANTO QUESTÃO ANTROPOLÓGICA, ÉTICA E POLÍTICA

Resumo

Neste artigo, partindo do diálogo com alguns pensadores contemporâneos, eu pretendo apontar para elementos importantes na construção de uma narrativa possível sobre a situação e o lugar da luta pelo reconhecimento na sociedade contemporânea. Farei isso primeiro, ampliando os horizontes de compreensão da questão na contemporaneidade. Depois, apontando algumas intuições importantes para a reflexão sobre o reconhecimento em seu duplo papel, de conceito filosófico propício ao florescimento humano e de conceito filosófico essencial ao discurso filosófico na esfera pública. Por fim, apontando caminhos atuais de desenvolvimento social desta questão.

Abstract: Based on a dialogue with some contemporary thinkers, this paper points to important elements for the construction of a possible narrative related to the situation and place of the struggle for recognition in our contemporary society. It will first expand the horizon of understanding to cover the question today. Then, it will focus on some important insights concerning the reflection on the dual role of recognition: as a philosophical concept that is conducive to human flourishing; and as an essential concept of philosophical discourse in the public sphere. Finally, the article will point to the current paths of social development that are relevant to this issue.
